What we collect: nothing

This is an education site, not a lead generator. We don't ask for your name, email, phone number, address, age, health information, or anything else. There is nowhere on this site to enter that information, because we don't want it.

We don't sell, rent, or share personal information, because we don't have any to sell, rent, or share.

Our calculators

The numbers you enter into our coverage estimator stay in your browser on your own device. They are used to do the arithmetic on the page and nothing else.

Nothing you type is transmitted to us, stored on a server, or written to your device. Close the tab and it's gone. There's no "email me my results" and no hand-off to an agent, by design.

Cookies

We don't set advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't use third-party advertising networks.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages people actually read, so we know what to improve. It's a privacy-focused tool. It doesn't use cookies, it doesn't fingerprint your browser or device, and it doesn't follow you across other websites.

What it tells us is that a page was read, not who read it. We can't identify you from it, and there's nothing in it to sell or share.

Server logs

Our web host records standard technical information when a page is served, which can include an IP address, browser type, and the page requested. This is ordinary infrastructure logging that happens on essentially every website, and we don't use it to build a profile of you or try to identify you.

Links to other sites

We link out to sources such as state insurance departments, the IRS, the Social Security Administration, and insurance companies' own pages, and to our sister site. Once you follow a link, you're on someone else's site under their privacy practices, not ours. It's worth reading theirs, especially before entering personal information anywhere.

Children

This site is meant for adults making financial decisions. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your choices

Because we don't collect personal information, there's nothing for you to request, correct, or have deleted. If you email us, we'll have whatever you put in that email, and we'll use it only to reply to you.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the site works in a way that affects this policy, we'll update this page and change the date below. If we ever start collecting anything, we'll say so here plainly and prominently.
